Super Eagles of Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr, has named his starting line up for the game against Iceland, with three changes made to the side that lost 2-0 to Croatia.

Nigeria will be looking to redeem their battered image when they take on Iceland in a crucial FIFA World Cup 2018 match in Volgograd on Friday.

Nigeria are waiting to get off the mark following a 2-0 defeat to Croatia in their first game.

There could be a silver lining for the Eagles as Croatia defeated Argentina 3-0 on Thursday night.

For many, Nigeria are a very welcome presence at the World Cup – they always arrive in a blaze of colour and have boasted some of the most skilful African players to have graced the tournament. They will line up in a 3-5-2 formation against the Vikings.

Francis Uzoho retains his gloves behind the sticks.

Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, and Kenneth Omeruo have the licence as the back three.

Just like he does at Chelsea, Victor Moses is favoured at the right wing-back, with Bryan Idowu keeping his place at the left flank.

At the base of the midfield are Mikel Obi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Oghenekaro Etebo.

Upfront are Kelechi Iheanacho and speedy Ahmed Musa.

The game will get underway at 4pm Nigerian Time.  (The Cable)
