16 Die, 4 Rescued In Lagos Tragedies
At least 16 people, including a 56-year-old man, have died in two different incidents that occurred in Lagos on Sallah day.
Ibrahim Farinloye, the public relations officer of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the South West, said the Sallah day tragedy involved two vehicles; a Lexus and a Toyota car with three occupants following a heavy downpour.
Both vehicles got swept away by a heavy flood into an uncompleted drainage along Fatoki Street, Orile Agege.
Two persons died in the incident while four others were rescued by residents and government officials.
