Traditional Rulers, as well as political leaders of Ogun West Senatorial district have charged the residents of the zone to collectively work for the electoral successes of the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Dapo Abiodun and the its West Senatorial candidate, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola in 2023 general elections.

The Yewa-Awori leaders of Ogun West Senatorial districts emphatically declared that electoral victories of the trio of Tinubu, Abiodun and Adeola in next year elections will guarantee the sustenance of life changing interventions in education, commerce and socioeconomic developments of the area.

Speaking on behalf of the political leaders of the district during the handing over of 19 pieces of 33KWA electric transformers acquired to power 200 communities and Community Development Associations(CDAs) in the zone, Dr. Kunle Salako explained that the items, donated by Adeola, were facilitated by a political group: West-To-West-For-Dapo-Abiidun Movement (W2W4DA) to mark the 53rd birthday celebration of Senator Adeola, who is the now contesting the year 2023 Senatorial of Ogun West.

Salako, who is the Central chairman of W2W4DA maintained that the trio of Tinubu, Abiodun and the incumbent chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, Adeola have the interest of Ogun West at heart and would not hesitate at investing anything to help the Senatorial district transformed into an enviable height of other geo-political areas of the state.

The event had in attendance, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle, alongside all members of the Yewa Traditional Council, as well as the former Chairperson of Ogun Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA), Chief (Mrs.) Iyabo Apampa among other eminent personalities in the state.

Other items donated by the federal lawmaker included: school furniture for 10 selected secondary schools across the five Local Government Areas of Ogun West to enhance learning with comfort and safekeeping of learning materials to over 1, 500 students, while four new 18-Seater buses were donated to Ogun West Baales Forum, Market Women and Men of Ogun State (Ogun West chapter), Ogun West Muslim Community and the Christian Association of Nigeria (Ogun West chapter).

“Going forward therefore, if we want to continue to enjoy this kind of life changing intervention in multiple folds in Ogun West, we should know what to do.

“Let us support the emergence of new Federal Government of Nigeria in 2023 headed by somebody who knows Ogun West, who have visited Ogun West and who relates with Ogun West.’’
