As Stakeholders across political, religious and social divides begin to mobilize and agitate for the candidacy of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023, Yoruba Patriots Movement on Thursday 4th November, 2021 started sensitizing and rallying the grassroot support in readiness for the big event on the way.

The secretary of the group, Engr. Adekunle Olayinka told supporters in Abeokuta during a meeting, stated succinctly and categorically that Nigeria was presently at a crossroad and that the nation is yearning for a unifying personality like Asiwaju Tinubu to steer it to the desired direction and dock it in a safe haven of economic growth, job creation and security for the next generation.

Adekunle extolled Tinubu sterling qualities and described him as the “anointed man the Almighty God has ordained to rescue Nigeria at this stage in our history.”

Engr. Adekunle Olayinka said that the former Lagos State Governor has the capacity to address the many ills afflicting the country and bring to reality the new Nigeria of our dream.

He noted that the template of what the APC strongman could do was shown in the Lagos State economy which, he said, Tinubu built and has been sustained up till now.

“Asiwaju BolaTinubu gave us the prototype of the NIgeria of his dream. We need this prototype for a total reversal of the socio-economic and security challenges the country is currently bedeviled with” Olayinka submitted.

“He has the capacity to give us a new Nigeria of our dream. Lagos State is a typical example of his pragmatic leadership capability and economic acumen”. He continued.

“I have no doubt in my mind that Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu is the next president considering his track record and antecedents and he shall be a unifying factor and pull our country to another level of nationhood. This is the only option Nigeria has,” Hon. Adekunle concluded.
