Gunmen Shoot APC Leader Dead In Benue, In Front Of Family
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Otukpo, Benue State, Honorable Ejeh Udeh, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.
The incident happened around midnight on Monday at his residence in Ugboju. According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers, who came on a motorcycle, had laid an ambush and waited for him.
It is learnt that the moment he entered his home, the gunmen surrounded him and opened fire in front of his family. He died on the spot.
His body has since been taken to the Otukpo General Hospital morgue.
At the time of this report, the identity of the attackers remains unknown, and security agencies are yet to issue an official statement on the killing.
