2027: ADC Will Form Next Govt in Nigeria, Send Tinubu to Bourdillon — Kenneth Okonkwo
Kenneth Okonkwo, a seasoned Nollywood actor turned politician, has voiced confidence in the African Democratic Congress (ADC)’s chances of clinching victory in the 2027 presidential election.
During an appearance on Channels Television’s ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Monday, Okonkwo asserted that the opposition party is not only poised to take over governance but also determined to unseat President Bola Tinubu, sending him back to his residence in Bourdillon.’
”In 2027, we stand a chance in every election in Nigeria, but I wouldn’t say the same thing for any election for which the primaries have been conducted before the coming into existence of David Mark leadership, because they were not part of the people that decided.
”That is why I’m saying the true test of ADC will be in 2027. We are going to form the next government in Nigeria and send Tinubu to Bourdillon,” the lawyer said.
During a discussion on the organizational framework of the ADC nationwide, a party chieftain affirmed that the ADC maintains a presence in all 36 states.
He further noted that in Rivers State, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, as a key figure within the party, is duly recognized as its state leader.
“The ADC exists in the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Rotimi Amaechi naturally is one of the prominent leaders of ADC in Rivers state and in the South-South. So, it will not be out of place if you say that he is the leader of the ADC in Rivers State,” he added.
