Regina Daniels Accuses Ned Nwoko Of Domestic Violence
A viral video and social-media posts have propelled allegations of domestic violence into the public eye, placing the marriage of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and politician Senator Ned Nwoko under intense scrutiny.
In footage circulating online, Daniels is seen in tears and being consoled by friends as she says she can no longer tolerate alleged mistreatment by her husband.
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. Not again, I cannot stand the violence, it is too much,” she says in the clip.
The matter gained further attention after Sammy West, Daniels’s brother, posted on his Instagram story accusing the senator of physically assaulting his sister, fleeing the scene and later sending men to intimidate the family.
West — who described the incident in blunt terms and said it was not the first time — wrote in Pidgin that he would defend his sister and condemned any man who hits a woman.
The claims made on social media remain allegations. As of publication, neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor a representative had issued a public response.
