Hoodlums Raze ADC Secretariat In Ekiti
The secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ekiti State has been razed ahead of the inauguration of the state executive council.
Properties affected include 1000-capacity canopy with chairs, another 150 capacity canopy and parts of the building Secretariat that was torched by hoodlums.
Members of the party condemned the action as they called on security agencies to fish out those responsible for the act.
The party loyalists are currently gathering at the Basiri road in Ado Ekiti, where the secretariat is located and waiting for their national officers, who are expected to inaugurate the new executive members in the state.
Some ADC members cautioned political thugs to shun acts that may create tension in the polity in Ekiti, wondering why such could happen even when campaign had not started.(daily trust)
