Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) begin a protest in Lagos on Wednesday against the worsening insecurity in the state, despite holding a late-night meeting with President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock on Tuesday.
The protest draws large crowds as workers and union leaders demand urgent government action to tackle the rising crime and insecurity affecting residents and businesses across Lagos.
The demonstration follows weeks of violent incidents across Nigeria, with the NLC vowing to continue its advocacy until concrete measures are taken to curb insecurity.
