God has rejected Reno Omokri — Reverend Dachomo
Plateau State has again been thrust into the national spotlight as Reverend Dachomo delivered a searing critique of Nigeria’s top security officials and former presidential aide Reno Omokri in a #WithChude investigative special.
Speaking to Chude Jideonwo in Jos, Dachomo accused Omokri of deceit and hypocrisy, saying: “God has rejected Reno Omokri for saying there is no genocide.” He explained that a man who denies the ongoing killings, despite knowing the scale of the violence, is acting deceitfully and under divine judgment, citing Jeremiah 48:10. He added that even when Omokri shows remorse, the blood of the victims and the bones in their graves will not stop confronting him, as they have already been reported before the Creator Almighty.
Dachomo also condemned Omokri’s leadership of his congregation, calling him “a pastor of Satan.” He said he pities members who take Holy Communion under him, describing it as a camouflage of hypocrisy. He questioned how Omokri could claim brotherhood while failing to show love for Christians in the North, stating there is no love in him.
The cleric laid blame on Nigeria’s top security officials, questioning their ability to halt the escalating violence. He prayed for Plateau State Governor Mutfwang and President Tinubu, noting that their hands were tied. He described the nation’s security architecture as ineffective and compromised. Dachomo said Ribadu, the NSA, has failed to reduce insecurity and called him a fanatic. He also called for Vice President Shettima to be removed from office.
The interview is part of a #WithChude special where the media entrepreneur Chude Jideonwo travelled to Plateau State to document the human toll of repeated attacks, amplify the voices of victims and survivors, and hold leadership accountable for the escalating crisis.
