Bandits overrun national park office in Oyo state, kill personnel
Suspected bandits on Tuesday night attacked the National Park Service (NPS) office in Oloka, Orire local government area of Oyo state.
The attack reportedly occurred at about 9pm on Tuesday, with the assailants catching the park service personnel by surprise.
Sources have already hinted Blueprint newspaper that some personnel were killed during the attack, while others sustained injuries.
As of the time of filing this report, CP Femi Haruna of Oyo state, was said to be on his way to the national park to assess the situation.
Police authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
