Edo Deputy Gov Denies Rift With Okpebholo
Edo State Deputy Governor, Hon Dennis Idahosa, has denied having any rift with his principal, Governor Monday Okpebholo.
He said any attempt to weaken the relationship between him and Okpebholo by trying to sow seed of discord between them “is dead on arrival.”
Idahosa made this known in a statement he personally signed while reacting to reports circulating on social media alleging a disagreement between him and his principal.
“It has come to my attention that certain individuals, unsettled by the unity between my boss, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and myself, have resorted to sponsoring false narratives online in a desperate attempt to sow seeds of discord”.
He advised those behind the attempt to channel their energy on matters that would add value to the governor’s SHINE Agenda.
He said they were only pained by the practical governance being demonstrated by the administration of Governor Okpebholo.
“I, Dennis Idahosa, stand solidly behind my boss like the Rock of Gibraltar. I stand where he stands, and I sit where he sits.”
He said any attempt to divide them or weaken their team would fail, noting that such individuals are simply wasting their time.(daily trust)
