Rivers: Wike, Fubara fight spiritual, even Tinubu cannot solve it – Pastor Ibiyeomie
The General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, a Port Harcourt-based church, David Ibiyeomie, has declared that the unending fight between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is spiritual.
According to him, there is nothing any mortal man can do to stop the conflict, adding that only God can end the political logjam.
Addressing members of his congregation in a video that has gone viral, the pastor recalled that Peter Odili fought his benefactor, Rufus Ada George; Chibuike Amaechi fought Peter Odili, who helped him become governor; Nyesom Wike battled Amaechi, his boss; and now Fubara is taking on Wike.
Ibiyeomie noted that the same scenario would play out should Fubara decide to pick a successor after his tenure.
“Because if God speaks to me, I will say it. No mortal man, I repeat, can solve the problem of Rivers State. No mortal man. It’s not a physical problem.
“Amaechi was Odili’s boy; Amaechi fought him. Wike was Amaechi’s boy; Wike fought him. Sim was the boy to Wike and they are fighting. It can never be solved by any physical man, except by the hand of God.
