PHOTOS: Remi Tinubu visits Saraki over father-in-law’s death
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Saturday said the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, paid a condolence visit to his family following the death of his father-in-law, Otunba Adekunle Ojora.
Saraki disclosed this in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
He noted that the First Lady visited to offer her sympathies as the family continues to receive mourners.

He said, “As we continue to receive condolence visits, today, my family and I were honoured to receive the First Lady, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who visited to offer her sympathies on the passing of my father-in-law, Otunba Adekunle Ojora.”
Saraki thanked individuals who had reached out to the family through prayers, messages and visits, describing the gestures as strong sources of support.

He added that the encouragement had been particularly comforting to his mother-in-law, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, his wife, Toyin Saraki, and other members of the family during the mourning period.
“We are thankful to everyone who has reached out, sent prayers, or visited. Your kindness has been a great source of support for our mother, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, my wife Toyin, and our entire family,” he said.
The Ojora family had earlier announced that the Olori Omo Oba of Lagos died on January 28, 2026, at the age of 93.

In a statement signed by Saraki’s wife, Toyin Saraki, the family said the businessman passed away “in full submission to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT)” and urged the public to pray for his soul.
The late industrialist was buried according to Islamic rites on January 29, 2026, at Ikoyi Vault, Lagos, following Janazah prayers led by the Chief Imam of Lagos, Sheikh Sulaiman Abou-Nolla, attended by Islamic scholars, family members and dignitaries.
An eighth-day Fidau prayer and reception were later held on February 5, 2026, at Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Victoria Island, drawing prominent personalities from across the country.
Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo had expressed sorrow over Ojora’s death, describing him as a renowned industrialist, business tycoon and community leader.
