Group advocates Tinubu, Ambode’s re-election
A Support group, the Tinubu/Ambode Patriots, has reiterated that the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the return of former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to the Lagos State Government House remain the best option for Nigeria and the state, respectively.
The position was made by the group’s coordinator, Dare Dada, during a meeting of members of the support groupheld in Ikeja, Lagos, on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
According to Dada, the leadership credentials of Tinubu at the national level and the proven track record of Ambode in Lagos State make them the most reliable choices to sustain development and accelerate progress across the country and the state.
He noted that the group had already begun strengthening its grassroots structures across Lagos State to ensure widespread mobilisation and support ahead of the next election cycle.
Dada, therefore, called on the group’s senatorial coordinators, local council coordinators and ward leaders across Lagos State to begin early mobilisation efforts at the grassroots.
He also urged members to actively engage residents, market leaders, youth groups and community stakeholders across the state to explain why Tinubu at the national level and Ambode in Lagos State represent the best leadership combination for sustained progress.
