BREAKING: EFCC operatives lay siege to Malami’s Abuja residence, block access to street
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday laid siege to the Abuja residence of Abubakar Malami, former attorney-general of the federation (AGF), blocking access to the street and restricting movement in the area.
Eyewitnesses said the operatives arrived in about five buses and took control of Koranakh close, off Amazon street, effectively sealing off the neighbourhood.
Residents and visitors were reportedly prevented from accessing the street as the anti-graft agency mounted a heavy security presence. (The Cable)
