EPL: Casemiro admits emotions ahead of final Man United appearance
Man United midfielder Casemiro has opened up about the emotions he expects to feel as he prepares for what could be his final appearance for Manchester United, admitting it will be difficult to hold everything in.
The Brazilian midfielder revealed that the reality of the moment is already hitting home, especially after seeing how much it has affected his family.
He shared that his wife became emotional when supporters urged him to stay for another year, a reaction that made the situation feel even more real.
In a post obtained from Manchester United’s X handle on Tuesday, Casemiro was quoted as saying, “I am hoping not to cry on my last day. My wife already cried, when the fans were asking for one more year.
“So, I just want to enjoy all the moments and I will be a United fan for the rest of my life.”
PUNCH Online reports that Casemiro will leave Manchester United at the end of the season following the expiry of his contract.
