The APC said the submission of forms has been extended to midnight, Thursday, 7th May 2026
The screening of aspirants will now hold from Friday, 8th May 2026 to Tuesday, 12th May 2026
For the publication of screened aspirants, the new date is Wednesday, 13th May 2026.
The APC’s further extension of nomination form deadlines for the 2027 general elections is to handle high aspirant demand.
The move signals intense early competition within Nigeria’s ruling party as it gears up for primaries more than a year ahead of the polls.
