JUST IN: Ex-minister, Uche Nnaji, arrested at Enugu airport
Uche Nnaji, a former minister of science and technology, has reportedly been arrested at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu while attempting to board a chartered flight to Abuja.
Sources indicate that the arrest took place on Wednesday, with security operatives taking the former minister into custody at the airport.
According to Premium Times, Nnaji is expected to be handed over to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for further interrogation.
The ICPC had reportedly been investigating the former minister prior to his resignation from office last year, following allegations that he forged his academic certificates.
