Notorious terrorist leader, ‘Kachalla Yellow’ killed in Zamfara

Hunters and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) have neutralised a notorious terrorist leader known as Kachalla Sani Yellow in Zamfara State.Time & Calendars

The terrorist commander was killed in Anka Local Government Area following a gun battle in which local security groups repelled an attack by armed bandits.

Kachalla Sani Yellow was regarded as one of the most influential terrorist leaders operating across Anka, Bukkuyum, and Maru local government areas of the state.

He was reportedly among those responsible for coordinating attacks on several communities across the North-West region.

Confirming the development, the spokesperson for the Zamfara State Police Command, DSP Yazid Abubakar, said Yellow was killed during the confrontation.

The incident marks a significant development in ongoing efforts by security operatives and local defence groups to curb banditry and restore stability in the region.
