Heads of federal agencies pledge to deliver 10m votes for Tinubu’s re-election

The Forum of Chief Executive Officers of Federal Parastatals and Agencies says it will mobilise 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The forum made the pledge in a statement issued on Wednesday by Biodun Ajiboye, chairman of its media and publicity committee.

The CEOs said their role in implementing federal government policies and programmes across the country puts them in a position to assess the impact of the administration’s policies.

“The Forum of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Federal Parastatals and Agencies in Nigeria has declared its unequivocal support for the re-election bid of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and has pledged to mobilise and deliver an estimated 10 million votes in support of his bid for a second term,” the statement reads.

“We are not merely observers of government; we are practical actors in the implementation of government policies and programmes.

“We are on the field, across the states and communities, and therefore uniquely positioned to assess the impact of government.

“Ten million votes is not merely a number; it is a declaration of confidence, commitment and collective responsibility towards the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“From what we have seen and experienced, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated exceptional courage, determination and commitment to repositioning Nigeria.”

The forum commended Tinubu for his “bold and transformative leadership”, particularly his willingness to take difficult decisions and pursue reforms aimed at strengthening the economy and institutions.

The forum said more than 400 CEOs and senior leaders within its membership have networks across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), LGAs and communities.

The group said these networks would be deployed towards grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu’s re-election, with members focusing on wards and communities.

“Members have therefore been encouraged to take ownership of mobilisation within their respective areas of influence, engage constructively with citizens, communicate the achievements and vision of the administration, and contribute meaningfully to the President’s re-election campaign,” the statement said.

The forum also said it was ready to work with the presidential campaign council (PCC) and other campaign structures to coordinate its mobilisation efforts. (TheCable)
