“Tinubu Is Doing Great, Nigerians Should Be Patient” – Actor Hanks Anuku
Veteran Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku, has expressed a contrary view to those criticising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the hardship and insecurity in the country.

According to the popular actor, the challenges facing Nigeria were not caused by President Tinubu but were inherited from previous administrations. He therefore urged Nigerians to be patient with the President and give him time to address the challenges confronting the nation.
Anuku stated this during a recent interview, where he reaffirmed his support for the President.
He said: “It’s difficult for somebody in Nigeria to help you, you know. And I stick with Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nigeria has to be patient for the renewal of this man in the country.
“It was not spoilt by him, you know. There were people there before him now. Why didn’t they go and attack those people? He has to fix it now.”
On whether Tinubu is doing enough to fix the country, Anuku said: “He’s doing great. Nigeria should be patient. We’re too much in a hurry.”
“I’m going to be hanging out with Mr. President, so there’s nothing you can do about that. He has to serve his term, his tenure, you know.”
When asked whether he was being paid to support Tinubu, Anuku dismissed the suggestion, saying:
“Paid? How many people can be better than him? Because he’s this and that. Most of the people who may come after him could be even worse. So, the devil you know is better.”
