The Kano North Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Magaji Lamba, has warned party members against engaging in anti-party activities, urging them to vote for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Lamba issued the warning during a Kano North APC stakeholders’ meeting, emphasizing that party leaders must actively mobilize their followers to ensure a total victory for the party across all elective positions.

He stated that the directive originated from the APC national leadership and was passed down through the Kano State APC Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa.
“Our state party chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, instructed us to inform you that all leaders must bring their followers together in line with the APC national directive,” Lamba told the stakeholders.

He warned that any member working against the party’s candidates would be guilty of serious misconduct, stressing that all members must remain united regardless of personal grievances.

“Anti-party activity is a crime in the APC. There is no room for it. We must vote for all our candidates uniformly, setting aside whatever grievances we may harbour. Let us unite and move our party forward,” he declared.

The zonal chairman cautioned leaders and supporters against complacency or being misled ahead of the polls, warning that a defeat at the ballot box would have severe consequences for the party.

“Let’s not relent. It’s not an easy task, but we must remember that losing at the polls will carry heavy consequences. Please, let’s not be deceived,” he urged.

Lamba also called on members to prioritize the collective interest of the party over individual differences.

The stakeholders’ meeting forms part of ongoing efforts by the party leadership to consolidate its structures and galvanize support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
