An unmarried lady, Uchechi Okere of Umuewerre, Nguru, Imo State, has set her married lover, Darlington Nkwocha, from Egbelu, Nguru village, also in Nguru autonomous community in Ngor Okpala Council of Imo State, ablaze inside his car, Sunday Sun is reporting.
According to the widely circulating and read newspaper, the incident occurred on Saturday.
Sunday Sun said it reliably gathered from sources in the community that Nkwocha is a businessman who also operates executive taxi services.
The report had it that Okere and Nkwocha had been in a relationship, which many people in the community knew about.
However, the man did not offer the lady marriage as he was already married and this was getting at Okere, who wanted out over that.
Her friends were said to have advised her to opt to be a second wife, but Nkwocha spurned the idea.
