First lady of Ondo state, Betty Akeredolu tests positive for COVID-19
First lady of Ondo state, Mrs Betty Akeredolu, has tested positive for COVID-19, a government official confirmed to Tribune.
Speaking on Mrs Betty Akeredolu, wife of Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, testing positive for COVID-19, the government official was quoted to have said;
“The samples of the First Lady which was collected two days ago and one of the security aides of the governor returned positive this morning.”
“We are still awaiting the results of some media aides of the governors and some commissioners who interact with the state governor regularly.”
The First Lady is said to has embarked on self-isolation.
Governor Akeredolu tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, June 30.
