Motorists in the Fagba area of Lagos are currently being held in a traffic jam after a commercial train hit a fully loaded truck thereby obstructing traffic flow
Eyewitness reports say the driver of the truck probably misjudged the speed of the train and attempted to cross the rail before being caught.
Although, there was no news about whether lives were lost in the incident, there are fears that the driver of the truck may have been critically injured.
The accident which occured around 7:05am has doubled the Monday morning traffic troubles in the Fagba axis as no vehicles have been able to cross the rail tracks.
There are ongoing local efforts by citizens to pull off the truck from the tracks while there are no government presence at the scene as at press time.
