Man United’s Dorgu to miss 10 weeks with hamstring injury
Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu will be sidelined for approximately 10 weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury, dealing a blow to the club’s plans for the coming weeks.
According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on X on Tuesday, reports from football journalist Laurie Whitwell indicate that the injury will keep the player out of action for an extended period, ruling him out of several key fixtures.
The extent of the injury means Dorgu will undergo a period of rehabilitation before he can return to full training.
United’s medical staff are expected to monitor his recovery closely to prevent any setbacks.
Whitwell was quoted as saying, “Patrick Dorgu will be out for 10 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.”
The absence of the defender will be a concern for Manchester United, given his recent contributions and growing influence in the squad. Further updates on his recovery timeline are expected in the coming weeks.
The Danish international was instrumental in United’s 3–2 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, scoring in back-to-back games for the Red Devils before picking up the injury.
