No Criminal Will Go Out Of Kogi Alive – Yahaya Bello
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has vowed to deal ruthlessly with criminals who have taken the state as their safe haven, saying that they will meet their waterloo in the process.
He reiterated the determination of his administration to collaborate with security agencies to flush out criminal-minded people out of the state without mercy.
Governor Bello made this known in Lokoja Saturday when he received the Chairman of Yagba West Local Government Area, Pius Kolawole, over a robbery incident in his domain and the success achieved so far.
The governor stated that no criminals, who entered the state to perpetrate crime, would leave the state alive.
“If 20 criminals enter Kogi, they will leave in zero,” he said.
Governor Bello noted that the state is not an operational free zone for criminals, adding that anyone who is caught would face the wrath of the law.
He commended the doggedness of the local government chairman, saying he had demonstrated capacity and bravery.
Earlier, the local government chairman told the governor that their efforts had paid off, with the arrest and killings of some of the armed robbers that attacked Egbe and Odo Ere communities recently.
