No fewer than 100 persons may have been slaughtered, while over 200 persons remain unaccounted for after four days of gruesome attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

As more details emerged from Ngoshe village, Our Correspondent gathered that the bodies were littered all over the streets of the ghost village.

Some videos from eyewitnesses revealed that many people were beheaded, while JAS members taunted with purportedly slain soldiers.

Unfortunately, several bodies littered the several wards of the Ngoshe community.

Also, in a viral video footage with about two minutes and thirty seconds released by Boko Haram members and sighted by BusinessDay, the Shekau loyalists Boko-Haram terrorists posed inside a mosque in Ngoshe village and claimed the responsibility, saying that they had slaughtered the infidels.

The Boko-Haram terrorists vowed to hold onto the community until they have their Eid-el-Fitr Salah celebration, which is scheduled for the next 12 days.

The terrorists further vowed to extend its terror activities to Maiduguri and Abuja. The men also released videos from the scene of the attack, showing them beheading young men and killing children and women.

He said, “In the name of Allah, the most merciful and most beneficial. We thank God Almighty for helping us to succeed in our mission in Ngoshe. Today, we are inside the central mosque in Ngoshe.

“People in this town are saying that we cannot conquer Ngoshe. With the help of God, we have already conquered the town. We want to say categorically that we have slaughtered many of them, and we shall continue to remain and occupy this village.

“By the grace of God, we are going to stay in Ngoshe and make it part of our province, and we are going to do the Eid-el-Fitr Salah after the end of Ramadan in Ngoshe.”

He also disclosed that many residents were abducted, with the intention of converting them into enslaved people.

“We have slaughtered males and females in Ngoshe, and we have enslaved the others. It was Almighty Allah that said that we should enslave them and go with them,” he stated.

When contacted, a top state official said, ” Inna Lillahi Wa Innah Ilaihil Raj’un.
I have seen the video clips of the horrific attacks in Ngoshe carried out by Boko Haram. What I saw is beyond disturbing. I saw countless lifeless bodies of women, children, and men scattered on the ground.

“I saw the heads of non-disabled men brutally cut with axes. There was blood everywhere, scenes so horrifying that words can barely capture the depth of the tragedy.

“What makes this even more painful is the knowledge that these innocent people had done nothing to deserve such cruelty. They are ordinary villagers whose only crime is their desire to live in peace on their ancestral land.

“What these people have witnessed is beyond imagination. In the world of terror and conflict, there is hardly anything left for them to see. Their suffering has reached a level that words can barely describe.”

Earlier, troops of Operation Hadin Kai have repelled coordinated attacks by Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists on four communities in Borno State, eliminating several insurgents and their commanders in multiple attempts.

The attacks, which targeted military positions in Konduga, Marte, Jakana and Mainok, occurred between about 10:30 PM and 3:00 AM on Friday.

Business Day had earlier reported that at least 20 people were killed, including 14 soldiers, and over 100 women and children were forcefully taken away by terrorists on Tuesday night. (BusinessDay)
