Olori Chanel Chin, the ex-wife of Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, has narrated her experience in her four-year-old marriage to the Oluwo of iwo.

In a viral interview, she disclosed that their disagreement began in November, 2019, when they travelled to Canada.

According to the Olori, the disagreement was over money and that was where he abandoned her to leave for Nigeria, alleging she called the police on him.

“Oluwo doesn’t own a house or car in Canada.

“It is my credit card we use to pay for these things.

“Oluwo owns no properties abroad.”

Chin stated that at a time she knew Oba Akanbi was having sex with their housemaid.

She said: “Two weeks before I was sent out of the palace, I discovered he was having an illicit affair with our housemaid.

“Well, I confronted him, but it’s not an easy thing to say.

“But when l approached him, he was nonchalant about it.”

Giving further details about his net worth, Chin said the Oluwo never had anything because everything he ever owned, their bed and furniture inclusive, were donated to him.

She said it was after several years of living in darkness in the palace that a power generating set was donated to them.

She said: “We got a Mikano generator in October, which was donated by a Senator.”

However, she admitted that she loved and respected the king.

She said: “He has many personalities.

“Some days you don’t know if he is happy or upset.

“I stood there for four years and loved the lwo people.”

When asked if she spent all of Oluwo’s money like he claimed, Chin said: “Which money was I spending?

“People would look at my picture and say she is enjoying.

“I don’t have a business, I don’t have a car.

“The cars that we drove, the new Lexus was given to us during the elections, so we can vote APC (All Progressives Congress)….

“His name is (Moshood) Adeoti, the former SSG (Secretary to the Osun State Government).”

Chin stated that ever since she was sent out of her home with her son, she never benefitted anything from the king

She said: “I have to find money to take care of him.

“My son is a crown prince, but he is not benefitting anything from him (Oluwo).”
