‘I Was Tricked’ – Businesswoman Tracy Ohiri Cries Out Over Minister Dave Umahi’s Alleged ‘Forced’ Retraction Video
A major scandal is brewing as Abuja-based businesswoman Tracy Ohiri has sensationally recanted a recent video clearing the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, of wrongdoing, alleging she was “forced” and “tricked” into the settlement.
In a desperate social media appeal on Friday, Ohiri claimed that her own lawyer, Barrister Marshall Abubakar, worked alongside the Minister to manipulate her into filming the retraction. According to her, the secret agreement was that she would receive full payment for an undisclosed debt only after the video was made, but before it was ever released to the public.
“They released it without my consent and without paying me,” Ohiri cried out, alleging that the Minister’s team went public with the footage to clear his name while leaving her stranded and unpaid. She is now calling on Nigerians and human rights groups to come to her rescue, claiming the entire “peace deal” was a strategic trap to silence her.
The Minister’s office has not yet responded to these fresh allegations of coercion and breach of contract. This development turns what seemed like a settled dispute into a messy legal and PR battle for the former Ebonyi Governor.
