Lebanese-Nigerian Businessman Nidal Karameh, Mikano And Orca Mall Owner, Linked To Greek Island Drug Seizure – Report
The name Nidal Mofid Karameh has surfaced in connection with a recent high-profile narcotics seizure on the Greek island of Mykonos, according to emerging reports.
Sources, including Global Fraud Watch, claim that a luxury yacht identified as “Hallo,” allegedly linked to Karameh, was raided by Greek police during an anti-narcotics operation on the island.
SaharaReporters learnt that the operation reportedly led to the arrest of two individuals, while authorities also seized quantities of suspected illegal drugs.
However, official confirmation from Greek authorities detailing Karameh’s direct involvement has not been made public.
Karameh, a Lebanese-Nigerian businessman, is known as the founder of Mikano International Limited, a major Nigerian conglomerate with interests spanning power generation, steel fabrication, and real estate.
He is also reportedly the owner of the new Orca Mall at Eko Atlantic.
The development comes amid a broader crackdown by Greek authorities on drug trafficking networks operating in Mykonos, a popular tourist destination.
Recent operations have reportedly targeted both local and international suspects, including law enforcement personnel accused of facilitating the distribution of drugs.
“This incident is part of a series of intensified police operations targeting drug trafficking rings in Mykonos, which have recently included the arrests of local police officers and foreign nationals involved in distributing substances like cocaine, MDMA, and ketamine,” a source told SaharaReporters.
Authorities have yet to release a comprehensive statement on the latest raid or clarify the extent of any connections between the businessman and the seized vessel.
Orca Mall is a newly completed retail development situated in the prime district of Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.
The project was constructed by ITB Nigeria, a leading contractor with a portfolio that includes major developments such as Heritage Place, Eko Tower, Alpha One, and the FF Millennium Tower, among others.
The mall is designed to deliver approximately 30,000 square metres of gross leasable space and was officially launched on November 27, 2025. (SaharaReporters)
