President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday mourned the passage of his friend and classmate at Government College Katsina, Abba Ali.
Ali also served as the Chairman of the Forum of Classmates that included the President and members of their set in Government College Katsina.
In a statement by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, on Tuesday in Abuja, the President described the late Sen. Ali, as a complete gentleman who had a nuanced understanding of issues.
Mourning the late Ali, President Buhari said, “I have lost a valued friend.”
“I have had the honour of knowing him from our early days. He is leaving us with countless memories. We will greatly miss him,” he said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
Until his death, the deceased was a member of the Federal Judicial Service Commission.
