The Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare has charged the Corps Members that would participate in the conduct of the 2023 elections to discharge their responsibilities with fairness as good ambassadors of the Scheme.
According to him, “the elections are very significant and those of you picked and trained to play such important roles should be firm, fair, shun every temptation and be our good representatives.
I am appealing to you to conduct yourselves with maturity, be above board and ensure you carry out your tasks with high level of patriotism and commitment,” the Minister said.
Corps Members across the country have been trained and sensitized by INEC and NYSC, in which they would serve as Presiding Officers and Assistant Presiding Officers during the polls.
The Presidential and National Assembly elections would hold on Saturday, February 25, 2023 while the Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections will hold in some states of the Federation on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
