Ancelotti reportedly linked with Manchester United coaching lob
According to Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Premier League side Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The report also claimed that the 64-year-old Italian tactician already has an offer from the Red Devils for the next season. United manager Erik ten Hag has been under pressure with a disappointing season so far.
Ancelotti’s future is uncertain as his contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2024.
Amid interest in the Red Devils, the former Chelsea manager is also heavily linked to coach the Brazil national team in 2024.
“Carlo Ancelotti’s future remains unknown. The Italian’s contract with Real Madrid ends in June next year, and his priority is to continue on the white bench,” as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“However, Brazil is waiting for him to be the new coach, and now another team that is also interested in Ancelotti has appeared on the scene.
“That team is Manchester United, according to the Cope network, which explained that the Italian coach already has an offer from the English team for next season.
“It is not the first time that Ancelotti has been linked to United, which is looking for a replacement for Ten Hag and has set its sights on the Italian.”
On Monday, reports emerged that Los Blancos are preparing to offer Ancelotti a two-year contract extension within the next month.
