Brazilian football star Neymar Jre and girlfriend Bruna Biancardi have officially separated, merely a month after celebrating the birth of their first child, Mavie.
Despite the coupleโs initial joy at expanding their family, rumours circulated about their relationship status, fueled by speculations of Neymarโs alleged infidelity.
Bruna Biancardi gave birth to her daughter Mavie, in October, but announced through Instagram that she no longer has a romantic relationship with the dad, Neymar Jr.
The couple had been in the headlines during their relationship because of the soccer playerโs reported infidelities. They started dating during Christmas 2021, although they broke up a couple of times because of the aforementioned problem. It isnโt known what was the straw that broke the camelโs back that saw them break up for good.
Taking to her Instagram story, Biancardi addressed the rumors, stating thatย it is a private matter, but she understands that she is a public figure and that is why she clarified the situation with her followers on social media.
โThis is a private matter, but since I am often associated with news, suspicions, and jokes, I would like to inform you that I am not in a relationship. We are Mavieโs parents, and that is the reason for our relationship. I hope you wonโt associate me with the news so often anymore. Thank you,โ she wrote on Instagram.
Amid allegations, including purported requests for explicit content from OnlyFans star Aline Farias, Neymar publicly apologized to Biancardi in June, expressing remorse for his mistakes and vowing to make amends.
The recent separation comes at a challenging time for Neymar, both personally and professionally. His move to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia in August, a ยฃ78m transfer, faced additional complications with a severe knee injury last month during a World Cup qualifying match for Brazil.
