Jose Peseiro, who recently concluded his contract with the Super Eagles following the 2023 AFCON, has become the centre of attention in the football world.
The Portuguese coach has disclosed that he received seven job offers after guiding Nigeria to the tournament’s final in Cote d’Ivoire.
Despite missing out on the top coaching position in Algeria, which went to Bosnian Vladimir Petkovic, Peseiro remains optimistic about his coaching future.
He said he would carefully consider his options before deciding on his next move.
“I told everyone to come back at the end of the month. What is certain is that I want to continue coaching, and I need to choose wisely.
“At this moment, I repeat, all options remain possible. I received a lot of options and a lot of contacts from national teams or clubs. I would say 5, 6, or 7 (without revealing their identities),” Peseiro shared in an interview.
He emphasized the need to take a break and be calm before deciding on his future coaching project.
