It is with utmost dismay that Nigerians received the press release made by the Northern Elders Forum saying that President Tinubu has failed. To many Nigerians, That call was not only unnecessary but also ill-timed judging from the commitment of the president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards revamping every sector of the country. The outburst of the Northern Elders Forum was not unconnected to the abducted Kuriga whom were recently released by their abductors.

One of those that responded to the Northern Elders Forum was the BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda, who sympathised with the families of the abducted children as they shared in their grieves and pains as parents. They used the Holy Month of Ramadan to pray that Almighty Allah in His infinite mercy put an end to the madness of children abduction in the country.

According to the Director General of the BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda, Engr. Dan Ohiomoba who responded to the claim of the Northern Elders Forum that Tinubu’s government has failed noted that it was too early for them to make such weighty claim against a government that is barely 10 months in office adding that this is the first time in Nigeria’s political history that we have a decisive president and Commander-in-Chief who is a no-nonsense man, well grounded in the happenings across the country and is showing the expected political will in tackling them.

In his words, “we all agreed that Nigeria has some national challenges especially in the area of security but the good news is that it’s not business as usual anymore. Here is a president that assumed office with challenged treasury and serious security challenge, how can anyone expect an immediate transformation in such circumstance? The results of the efforts of Mr. President so far are very clear, visible and verifiable to all which attest to his vision of Renewed Hope Agenda as promised during his campaign period.

“We are pleased that we now have a listening president who is very passionate about the development, stability and transformation of the country in which the best we can do now is support him with prayers. This is Ramadan period, a time where Almighty Allah answers prayers faster and all we need now is call on Him rather than throwing blame game at the president. We can categorically state here that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not failed but rather laying a solid foundation for the posterity of our country.”

The DG also used the opportunity to highlight the numerous achievements of the present administration so far in different sectors of the economy especially the way the Naira is now appreciating against the dollar despite many speculations of doom by many.

He further reiterated the commitment of BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda to the Renewed Hope vision of the president. The group passed a Vote of Confidence on the President and Vice President and promised to continuing supporting the administration for the overall benefit of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
