The fresh abductions have reportedly heightened anxiety among residents of Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area, where repeated attacks by armed groups have continued to threaten lives, livelihoods and agricultural activities.
Residents expressed concern over the recurring incidents, warning that persistent attacks on farmers could further undermine food production and economic activities in the area, especially during the farming season.
According to the report, community members have renewed calls for stronger security measures to protect rural communities and farmlands from the activities of armed bandits.
The report noted: “Residents say the recurring attacks have heightened fear and insecurity in Danko-Wasagu LGA, as communities renew calls for stronger security measures and the safe return of those abducted.”
