The Police Service Commission (PSC) on Wednesday, October 2, approved the postings of four Commissioners of Police to lead state commands across Nigeria.

The latest reshuffle affects the Delta, Cross River, Rivers, and Kaduna State Commands.

CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, who was recently assigned to the Rivers State Command, has now been transferred to head the Delta State Command.

Meanwhile, CP Peter Ukachi Opara, previously moved from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to Delta State, will now serve as the Commissioner of Police for Cross River State.

In the latest set of appointments, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala has been assigned to the Rivers State Command, while CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah has been posted to the Kaduna State Command.

The announcement was made by the PSC’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, who stated that the postings have been officially communicated to the Inspector-General of Police for implementation.

The letter was signed by the Chairman of the Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu.
