Akin-Olugbade, in his life time was a revered lawyer who had businesses in the maritime industry and several other sectors lived life to the hilt, enjoying the good things it offered.
He was renowned for his creme lifestyle, enjoying only choice parties, while acquiring exclusive Rolls Royce made for only royalty.
At a point, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Owu Kingdom was said to have had about 10 Rolls Royce, with his name as the plate number.
Akin-Olugbade was born on April 2, 1956, to the family of late Babatunde Akin-Olugbade, Balogun of Owu and a wealthy businessman.
The father of three boys holds the traditional title of the Aare Ona-Kankanfo of Owu Kingdom.
He was a lawyer and his business interest include property development, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services and investment banking.
He attended Corona School, King’s College, Lagos and London University.
Akin-Olugbade had his Master’s Degree in Law from the University of California and obtained his doctorate degree in Company Law at Cambridge University.
