The Naira on Friday appreciated to N1,615 per in the parallel market.

Similarly, the Naira appreciated to N1,474.78 in the official market.

Data published by FMDQ, showed that the indicative exchange rate for Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) fell to N1,474.78per dollar from N1,500.78 per dollar on Thursday , indicating N26 appreciation for the naira.

Consequently, the margin between the parallel market and NFEM rate widened to N141.4 per dollar from N119.22 per dollar on Thursday.
