TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown has weighed in on the controversy surrounding 2Baba’s separation from Annie Idibia and his new relationship with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
Brown in a video, on ‘Your View’ expressed disappointment and frustration with 2Baba’s actions, questioning why he strung Annie along for so long and at what point he fell out of love with her.
According to Morayo, 2Baba owes the public an explanation for his actions, which she feels have damaged Annie.
She also criticised 2Baba for moving on quickly with another woman.
She said: “I don’t think 2baba should go scot free for what he has done and how he has damaged this young woman. I feel that he has led her on. Maybe it was societal pressure that caused him to stay with this young woman. He needs to tell us because the society was there when they were getting married. At what point did you say you are no more with Annie, at what point did you feel you can desert Annie. What audacity do you have to say you have fallen out of love with her?”
Brown’s comments come after 2Baba confirmed romance with Natasha and proposed marriage, sparking widespread debate and criticism.
