Tinubu elevates two senior aides in Vice President’s office
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Temitola Adekunle-Johnson as Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation and MSME (Office of the Vice President).
President Tinubu also approved the appointment of Mrs. Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health (Office of the Vice President).
According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, both appointees previously held similar roles within the Vice President’s office.
Adekunle-Johnson, who served as Senior Special Assistant (SSA), played a key role in advancing the administration’s initiatives in job creation and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) development.
He supervised projects such as the Expanded National MSME Clinics and the Shared Facility Initiative.
Anwuka, who was Special Assistant on Public Health, spearheaded efforts to combat malnutrition and hunger, particularly in vulnerable communities.
She was instrumental in the implementation of the recently launched Nutrition 774 Initiative.
The statement further said the appointments align with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in the areas of job creation, small business development, and public health.
Their new appointments take immediate effect.
