Alhaji Bukar Bolori, one of the richest men in the North, dies at 92 in Saudi Arabia (photos)

Alhaji Bukar Bolori, a prominent businessman in Borno state, has died.

Before his death, Alhaji Bukar Bolori was one of the richest businessmen in the North. He is also the father of Unmi Fatima Bolori, Aminu Atiku’s ex-wife.

Aminu Atiku is former Vice President Abubakar Atiku’s son.

According to reports, Alhaji Bukar Bolori died in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 after a brief illness.

Alhaji Bukar Bolori died at the age of 92.

His remains, pictured below, have since been buried according to the Muslim rites.

Late Alhaji Bukar Bolori is said to have impacted many people’s lives in his state. He built the first factory (pioneer enemalware) in Maiduguri and also the first and only confectionery factory (Haske Sweets & confectioneries) in northern Nigeria in 1980 and 1982 respectively.

Meanwhile, the former deputy governor of Borno State, Alhaji Adamu Shettima Yuguda Dibal has condoled the family of Alhaji Bukar Bolori, Governor Kashim Shettima and Borno State over the death of the late statesman and business mogul.

Dibal who described the deceased as as patriot, icon of integrity, man of peace and humanitarian actor – said that Borno and Nigeria as a whole has lost a great icon.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
