One person has been conformed dead while three others were rescued with injuries from the rubbles of two-storey building that collapsed on Sunday afternoon in the Mushin area of Lagos State.
“So far, one person has been confirmed dead, while three others have been rescued alive,” Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos Territorial Office said while confirming the development.
According to Farinloye, the collapsed building, which was still under construction, is located along Ishaga Road, opposite Central Mosque, Idi Araba, Mushin.
He added that emergency responders are still busy with rescue operation at the site of the collapsed building.
“Search and rescue operations are on-going continue,” Farinloye added.
