Dangote IPO surge crashes Bamboo App as investors rush to subscribe
The Bamboo investment app has experienced login difficulties as a surge of users attempt to access the platform following the commencement of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE public offer.
The development has left some users unable to log into the app, with Bamboo acknowledging the disruption in a statement shared on its official X account.
“Hey everyone, we’re getting a much higher-than-expected traffic trying to get into the Dangote IPO, and it’s making it difficult for some users to log into the Bamboo app.
“We’re working on a fix, and it will be up and running shortly. ”
The platform attributed the difficulty to the unusually high volume of traffic generated by users seeking to participate in the Dangote IPO.
Bamboo assured affected users that efforts were underway to resolve the issue, although it did not give a specific timeframe for when normal access would be fully restored.
The login disruption comes as investors show heightened interest in the Dangote Refinery public offer, which has attracted significant attention from Nigerians seeking to acquire shares in the company.
