NNPCL Declares N7.2trn Profit For 2025

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) says it generated N7.2 trillion in profit after tax in 2025.

Speaking during the presentation of the 2025 Audited Financial Statement on Tuesday, the GCEO of NNPCL, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, said the profit was from the N34.5 trillion revenue generated during the year.

The GCEO said the profit represented an increase of over 30 per cent compared with what was generated in 2024.

However, the total revenue dropped by N10.6 trillion from the N45.1 trillion generated in 2025.

He said NNPCL paid tax, royalties and remittances to the Federal Government to the tune of N22.3 trillion.

He added that the company produced an average of 1.77 million barrels per day of crude oil and 7.2 billion standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) of gas.

Recall that NNPCL generated N5.76 trillion in 2024.
