‘I wish every day for a George Bush again,’ – Harry Reid tells CNN
In an exclusive interview with CNN, former U.S. Senate majority leader Senator Harry Reid, who is currently battling pancreatic cancer, said that he longed for the days of the George W. Bush administration. He added that he had trouble accepting President Trump “as a person.”
He said of Bush, “He and I had our difference but no one ever questioned his patriotism.
“There’s no question in my mind that George Bush would be Babe Ruth in this league that he’s in with Donald Trump. Donald Trump wouldn’t make the team”
When asked whether there wasn’t anything Trump was doing right, he said “Is there anything I think the President Trump is doing right? I just have trouble accepting him as a person and so frankly I don’t see anything he’s doing right”.
