Buhari sacks his chief security officer
The home cleaning in preparation for the second term of president mohamadu Buhari seems to have started in earnest with the reported sacking of the chief security officer, Bashir Abubaka
A source revealed that he’s to give way to a new face from the department of state security, Mr Idris.
Though reasons for the sack of the controversial officer who once single handedly expelled the state house correspondent of the punch newspapers from the seat of power are still sketchy, First weekly magazine investigations revealed that he is suspected to be a key loyalist of the former DG lawal Daura.

Bashir was appointed in July 2015 by the president to replace Abdul Mana who was sacked over his alleged involvement in shady deals and also undermining the president.
